Paul Belloni Du Chaillu (1831-1903) was the first explorer of the interior of Gabon (1855-1859), self-taught, he was both a naturalist, ethnologist, linguist, geographer and ... famous for having been the first hunter gorilla and the first to meet the pygmies.
Envied by scientists, it attempts a second trip a few years later to prove his findings.

A multidisciplinary team Franco-Gabonese, under the direction of Jean-Marie linguist Hombert hand in his footsteps, finding places, animals and people described by this pioneer atypical, which sank into oblivion for unjustified.
